Embracing Inclement Weather
I'm always looking at the sky for certain character and tones, hoping for that
ultimate capture that tells the story. One thing I have noticed is, you can
expect to see the best sky with more character just before or after inclement
weather. So its in those times I am scouting for that portrait that God is painting
in the sky.
In our lives we often have our own inclement weather, and many times we will
do anything to escape it. But it is important to remember not to fear because,
it is in those time that God is painting our portrait, that portrait that tells
our story, filled with rich tones and character.
James 1:2-4 says Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider
it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested,
your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance
is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
